"I don't believe you" she whispered. His heart twisted as he single handily heard her heartbreaking with every beat.
"Believe me," he responded. He was fighting back tears of his own. "I don't love you anymore." Of course, he was lying, he still loved her. More than the ocean loves the moon, and more than words could ever possibly describe, but she is a hurricane and he is a tornado. They don't mix like the soft wind and light drizzle they used to be.
"Goodbye Evelynn Paige Presley." He whispered as he looked at his feet because God knows if he looked at her, he would never leave.
"No... Stephen, please don't do this to me."
