This story is mainly based off of the song "Back To You" by Selena Gomez, but there will be chapters being based off of other songs as well.
In this book, Rey is just a normal girl. She doesn't have the force and is not a Jedi. She's just a homeless scavenger who was abandoned by her parents and raised by thieves on Jakku. She had to fend for herself her entire life, even as a small child. Her village is under the control of the First Order. She tries to stay out of their way, but one day while their doing a trade, she stumbles out of her hiding spot.. right into the path of Kylo Ren!

Kylo Ren is the strongest Jedi, next to his Uncle Luke of course, who has ever lived. He is powerful with the force. He's the Commander if the First Order. His grandfather was Darth Vader. He tries to finish what Vader started, but during a trade on Jakku, he meets someone that may change his mind about the dark side...

Confronting Fear

Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way.
