This is the first chapter of a book I'm working on, I thought I'd get a little preview out there so I could get some feedback hopefully. So far it's about a 17 year old kid named Jasen who wakes up in a strange land called Dystopia. Dystopia is under siege by forces known as the shadow legion, who are led by a figurehead known only as the Shadow Dealer who is said to be the physical embodiment of fear. The council of Dystopia hope to use Jasen to fight their age old enemy, but will Jasen stay loyal to the people he barely knows as he begins to uncover the truth of the Shadow Dealer and the council of Dystopia?All Rights Reserved
