Where the hero defeats the villain, brings peace to the kingdom and finds their true love so they can live happily ever after. That's what Sonic believed as he lived in Camelot, ruling as king with his loyal knight at his side.

(Un)fortunately he's thrown back into Mobius with his original family and home after being presumed missing for over three years. Except they don't understand his grief, that his memories are a mess, that his heart's broken.

How can they expect him to be okay when every time he even glances at his friends he sees the counterparts that became his family in Camelot - a family he's left behind. Sonic's (somewhat) grateful to be home, to see his friends, though it hurts that he wishes to stay even if his heart longs to leave.

Sonic doesn't believe in story tales, not anymore. Why should he? When he might never get his?All Rights Reserved

He was never about fighting and violence like other demons, he just wants freedom and peace. Bullied for his secret morals, he sneaks out for the night. What if these two were to cross paths? This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. What was meant to be a simple rescue mission turns out to be a week-long trek across an island as Sonic and friends race to fix their powers. Knuckles and Rouge address the elephant in the room. On Senior Prom Sonic was going to have a great time with his 'boyfriend' Knuckles. But turns out it was a set up that he framed Sonic for selling Cocaine and it worked. Once Sonic was thrown in jail, everyone who knew him abandoned him (even his own family). He turned to a life of crime (for a short while) after getting out of prison. He was broken as he felt nothing. But when he got to the hospital from attempted suicide and then to the asylum, a spark of light came when a kind hearted psychiatrist Offered him a job and a place to stay at his Orphanage (which is also a school for wayward youth) with his therapy. With the help of one girl and her best friend. A little bright blue hedgehog girl named Janice and a bright red echidna named Cassie. Things were plain but Sonic was still broken but he was hateful towards those who hurt him in the past. He changed his appearance and moved far away to a little bit old London (a little modern) style town selling good medicine for the people and working for the psychiatrist. When people (Knuckles, his family, and friends) from his past 'somehow found him' come to make things right, Sonic turns them away. Will Sonic give them a chance? Or will he just hate them for everything they did in the past?

Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. The characters are aged up as follows; Sonic-21, Shadow-22, Rouge-22, Knuckles-23, Amy-19, Tails-15, Silver-18, Mephiles-18, Mighty-18, Sally-16 I am open to constructive criticism, so if you notice a mistake or something that just doesn't make sense, please comment so I can fix it.
