Where the hero defeats the villain, brings peace to the kingdom and finds their true love so they can live happily ever after. That's what Sonic believed as he lived in Camelot, ruling as king with his loyal knight at his side.

(Un)fortunately he's thrown back into Mobius with his original family and home after being presumed missing for over three years. Except they don't understand his grief, that his memories are a mess, that his heart's broken.

How can they expect him to be okay when every time he even glances at his friends he sees the counterparts that became his family in Camelot - a family he's left behind. Sonic's (somewhat) grateful to be home, to see his friends, though it hurts that he wishes to stay even if his heart longs to leave.

Sonic doesn't believe in story tales, not anymore. Why should he? When he might never get his?All Rights Reserved

The Summer with Sonic and friends isn't as light hearted as it would be. Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Blaze, Silver, Shadow, Rouge, Cream, Cheese, Sally, Marine, and Mighty just don't wanna have fun with Sonic considering they want nothing to do with him as a friend anymore. Not even his brother Manic (who also came for their vacation) wanted to hang out with him. All of them were on summer vacation at a hotel near a every day theme park (which is an attraction with the hotel). They wanted to spend all summer without Sonic (who came with them) Though when they went too far Sonic felt so heart broken and was never in their sights. By the time they all feel bad and guilty especially Knuckles who actually does have a crush on him they slowly notice Sonic is not himself. He was feeling off and never coming out of the room he stayed in until most summer nights. He was even eating raw meat every day and night. Also strange things happened. They at first thought he was mad at all of them but Knuckles knows that there is something more sinister than that.

Sonic defeats Dr. Eggman once again, but right before the battle ended, Dr. Eggman tells the hedgehog that the connections to his friends never really existed. Now at first Sonic didn't believe it at first, but when his friends see him with his ex-girlfriend, Sally, who comes back from her kingdom, everyone assumes that he's cheating on Amy. Sonic's friends turn against him, leaving the poor hero in ruins, at first the former Team Sonic members just say that he deserved it, but they take it too far when they wished that Sonic never existed. Their wish comes true when Sonic is found dead, and his "friends" don't even sniffle. A year later, they have a rough time fighting Dr. Eggman, but things only just get even harder...and complicated, too. Sonic has joined Dr. Eggman, but the former team could barely see any of the former hero. Will they realize their mistakes? Can they find their apology? Can Sonic forgive them? Most importantly, can they bring back the hero they threw away so long ago?

Follow Sonic and Shadow as the two heroes fight for true rule over the kingdom of Mobius, and claim what each truly believes to be justice. Fall into Chaos is meant to be my love-letter to the series. While this can still be enjoyed with a minimal understanding of the series, it does help to know your stuff! The story is meant to really unravel the characters of the franchise I love. Really highlight their flaws, strengths, motivations, all that. And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With plenty of Sonic's trademark cheesiness and personality. So with all that being said, please. Enjoy Fall into Chaos.

When people (Knuckles, his family, and friends) from his past 'somehow found him' come to make things right, Sonic turns them away. Will Sonic give them a chance? Or will he just hate them for everything they did in the past?
