This story is originally printed by Olympia Press - Paris, France. Olympia Press - London. & Grove Press - New York.

The first ever copy was printed in 1954 in France and was NOT allowed to be sold in the US or UK.
Years later, another story came out in 1957 under the name "The Wisdom of the Lash" and would later be known as "Story of O."

Between 1960-1970, Olympia Press - London, came out with a hardcover copy of O.

In 1965, Grove Press - New York, came out with a US copy of O that has the alternate 2nd ending that tells of what happened to "O" after the Commanders party.
