Hoping to update once a week, I apologize in advance for spelling, grammar, and perspective issues. This is my first fanfiction in a VERY long time so please be kind, happy to read and respond to feedback in the comments. Hermione thought he might try to argue with her again, make her red in the face with anger but Draco paused when he opened his mouth. She waited in anticipation. His features seemed to soften a little as he stared at the ground. When his eyes came back up to meet her, she thought she might get lost in his gaze. "Light prevails."
