Okay this is two years in to the future picking up off of where 'Letters From the Shadow World'. Simon and Izzy are still in a long distance relationship. Clary is still struggling with depression witch has only gotten worse to her parabatai's disappointment. Jace and Adele have been dating for a year and a half now. Isabelle has been sending updates once a month to the New York City Institute. She has pushed Clary in her training in between visits with Tessa Grey even though Clary has nearly stopped hunting completely. Isabelle has pushed Clary so hard in her training that she has became the best shadowhunter her age. Ranking first over all the girls and guys her age. It's Not A Utopia (An OC Shadowhunter Fanfiction)
A few months ago, I received a box on my doorstep. It was charred in multiple places, and it had many puncture holes. The box had no return address-nor did it have mine. As I opened it, a note came out, with only three words: "Tell the story". Underneath the note, there was some sort of voice recording device that I have never seen before. They didn't fear her appearance, they feared her blood. When the heavenly fire that claimed her family took over the manor, she had barely escaped with her life. The only evidence of it being her bright gold eyes that seemed to swirl with a inner fire. People saw that before in Jace Herondale. They once feared him too. After the fire, Jia Penhallow adopted the small girl and five years later shipped her to the Los Angeles Institute in the hopes the trusted Blackthorn children would lift her spirits.
