Il est tard. Clément ne dort pas. Dans le salon, Mamie chuchote et Papa se tait. Emma n'a pas voulu dire bonne nuit à Papa. A l'autre bout du couloir, après avoir beaucoup pleuré, Maman fait dodo peut-être. C'est Papi qui l'a couchée. "J'espère que Papa n'a pas appelé la police. Je ne veux pas que Maman elle aille en prison."
