For years I've waited for one guy. Just one. He's the most idiotic, foolish, unintelligent, handsome, quirky, loveable guy I've ever met. I've been with him through thick and thin. We're practically family, and I'm sure he's okay with just that. Here's the thing, this guy is obsessed with this girl. She's gorgeous, with perfect, red, short, hair and beautiful brown eyes. Compared to me, I look like a yellow squash. I can see why my guy loves her. I don't know why I wait. I keep telling myself he isn't worth it, yet, here we are. His name's Philip Dale, though he goes by Phil and most call him Duckie, including himself. So that's my story. I am in love with my best friend and there is not going to be any hope of a happily ever after because, no matter how hard I try, I can't stop waiting. But I guess that's what you get when you're me.
