Hey y'all I'm new to the writing community, so please give me advice along the way as I'm writing this!!!☺️☺️☺️
This story is taken place in a western like era. We are introduced to the main protagonist- sheriff Smith where he is on the hunt for a bandit that has been causing trouble around the parts of town, and progressively on their way to the top to rob on wealthy men.  As he hunts for this bandit , Smith realizes there is more to this thief than meets the eye. Meanwhile he's been having nightmares with no explanation, he asks his buds about it, but no one gives him a proper answer.

DISCLAIMER: this story will have a dystopian government, racism, minor suicide, abuse, sexism, and NSFW. If you are uncomfortable by any of these topics I advise you not to read this.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first.
