This is a rewrite of the original Calm Voices from 2017. It is the only other work in my library, so I've been revamping it for about a year and running it through multiple betas. This focuses way more on Silver's feelings and situation, and there's at least a little more detail than my 2017 self provided. I hope you all enjoy the fruits of my labour! There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl. But she wasn't a princess. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. It's a not very original fanfiction, then again, no fanfiction is completely original. Also, Rafal really likes peaches for some reason...?
