But, what they find is not what they expect in the slightest, and soon they are off again to discover the very origins of the woods to which they were abandoned in. Though discovery is not a problem, treason is. When a terrifying secret about one of the group members is revealed, the Survivors must take sides and decide what they truly feel about the situation each of them had been unwilling filed into.

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal.
