I slowly traced my finger over the bruises on his face, then let my eyes travel up to meet his.
"Kael," he breathed, as his deep blue eyes flicked down to my lips then back up to my eyes.
I smiled softly and brushed some of his hair off his forehead where it had fallen when he laid down.
My eyes drifted back to his and I saw that he was still staring up at me, intently biting his lip. His hand brushed across my cheek to tuck a loose strand of hair behind my ear. When his fingers reached my chin, he gently pulled me down until we were only inches apart.
His eyes flickered between my lips and my eyes once more before he softly pressed his lips to mine.
I couldn't help it; as he deepened the kiss I realized that I was falling for this boy and there wasn't a single thing I could do about it.
