I Hunt Monsters

It was in the middle of the night when an ear-piercing shriek made me jump out of my bed. I was worried of my little brother and went to look for him.

He's not in his room, not in Mom and Dad's either. The only place left was downstairs.

When I'm finally downstairs, I was shocked to see my Dad soaked in with his own blood lying unmoving on the floor.

His words echoed in my mind telling me to find my little brother and get him away from here.

But when I burst into the living room, I only find myself waking up from a nightmare that haunts me for the past six years.

My family was murdered by a vampire six years ago and I am the only one who survived. I lived with my aunt and uncle. I tried my best to live a normal life, but the painful memories kept on resurfacing on my mind. And deep inside, I madly desired to take the life of the vampire that murdered my family to bring justice for my family.

"I Hunt Monsters" is a fictional novel.
