"Life imitates art." "The pen is mightier than a sword." ansel eaton is a highschool senior. Despite not having the looks but not being too ugly, he is popular for his poetry. His use of the pen and paper are extraodinary even highschool neanderthals are awestruck with his awesome work. He's the only poet at his school and everybody seems to love him for it, his art strikes many. But even with his amazing talent, he still has a sad underlying part of him that, unironically, fuels his poetry. Will he ever find peace? Will he ever be able to leave his pain and start anew? oliver dyer is also a highschool senior. A man out of sorts. So near yet so far, concealed and stripped of happiness. An aloof man they say, he doesn't talk too much. Detached from everybody. He may not do much or talk much but he does paint. He loves painting, his only escape, his way of communication. His beautiful strokes embody his emotions, always pain. He wishes to talk, but he pulls himself back, he's too afraid, too hurt. He's traumatized. Will he ever have the courage to speak again? Will he ever find love and care or will he remain remote? art becomes him. art is loving him.
