Fans of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and The Olympians will enjoy this new young adult novel.

When a few thousand dollars' worth in jewels is stolen from the Houston Museum of Art, suspicion naturally falls on curator Elise Whitney, the last person seen on site the night of the theft. Elise knows she's innocent-she has no need for jewels found barely below the surface, when she can summon them from far deeper in the ground using her powers. Her powers come from her father, the Ancient Roman god Pluto.

Elise enlists the help of her friend, Orion, son of Neptune, and one of the museum's cleaning ladies, Emma, daughter of Hestia to prove her innocence. Join them and their ragtag band of friends and family on a journey to prove that Elise didn't steal the jewels.
