Olivia is just a normal, well behaved teen, watching over her grandmother and cleaning up after her mum. She doesn't drink, she doesn't do drugs, she does everything she's told, living up to the expectations laid before her. Having finally finished with high school after skipping a few grades, Olivia is getting ready for her life to begin at seventeen.

But then Olivia is confronted with the most intense pain for no apparent reason. Doctors draw a blank and with no explanation, there's little Ollie can do to understand what she's experiencing. All the while her mother is drifting away from her, performing violent outbursts and vanishing acts.

It isn't until Olivia is forced to acknowledge the gaps in her memory that she realises there might be something more to the story.

With new found friends Olivia learns there's more to life than submitting to authority and sometimes rebellion is for the better.
