Our damaged world, caused by centuries of a climate changing faster than we could adapt, is very different from the place our parents grew up in. We have survived riots, famines and plagues but there has only been one thing on my mind for the last few decades: finding my brother. With higher and higher temperatures being reached across the globe every year, it's difficult to deny that we're not being affected by climate change. There isn't much literature out there that normalises the changes happening to our planet, so Pandora is an exploration of the world that our children may be living in. Pandora follows Tam's story. Born in the present day, Tam is living in a future shaped by us and is trying to survive in a world no longer as plentiful as it used to be. Travel has become difficult so it is only the fear of dying before reconciling with a brother who disappeared decades ago that has forced Tam to risk the journey. The idea for Pandora was conceived after reading the Global Warming of 1.5°C report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. A global temperature rise of 1.5°C leads to some terrifying effects on our planet and there isn't much out there exploring what everyday life would be like in such a world. Numbers don't mean much when they're only on paper, and there won't be any of the drastic changes required to make a difference until we start being seriously affected ourselves. And by that time it will be too late. Pandora is a cautionary tale about what will happen if we don't do enough in the little time we have available.

Then she let her other hand graze over her neck until she felt the tender spot where'd sucked and nipped at her skin - further claiming her. Proof. It was real. She let her head relax against the wall, and her eyes drifted closed again. She wanted to grasp that again. Grasp that passion, and relive it once more. It reminded her that she wasn't a mistake and she wasn't pathetic. She had found the one. The right one. The real one. Her Bounder. <Warning: Story May Contain Sexual Scenes, Profanity, Graphic Violence, Unnecessary Exposure Of My Personal Life To My Precious Readers, And Other Detailed Events>
