Life's just beginning for Paisley Henderson when she attends to Harlem Prep high school. For the first time, She's a freshman, and she receives excellent grades. Also, she loves to sing; Paisley's parents are so proud of her. But unexpectedly, all of that changes. Harry Styles is a sophomore, and he's been at Harlem only for a year. First, he starts to ridicule her, making her feel very despondent. Contempting her in the worst possible way he can. After a while, he gets the feeling that she deserves physical abuse. Will Paisley utilize her voice as an escape?
