Christian is an ordinary boy, soon to be man of his village, when he starts having strange dreams of a trapped woman. Deciding that it was just a dream, he continues about his life. His father and older brother having left to go fight in the war against monsters, he forms a familial like bond with another members of his village, Salif. 
But when Salif is accused of being one of those said monsters, he is carted away to face execution. Feeling like he has to prove Salif's innocence, Christian teams up with two strange newcomers in the village to rescue his friend
