Alei was always told by her older siblings that she has an identical twin somewhere. When she was young, it was just something she always believed, but now sixteen she's not so sure. After all, her parents would have no reason to lie to her. She was under eighteen so she'd have to have their permission anyway, why do they keep denying it? And why would they keep her instead of her sister? As Alei tries to figure out the truth, someone who appears to be her sister reaches out to her. Two days later, she's found murdered in a trash can behind the mall she was scheduled to meet at. Soon, family secrets that had been buried come out. Is it the person online she talked to? Her estranged uncle who was convicted of sexual assault but was released due to lack of evidence? As police follow multiple leads, it is soon ruled a suicide. But is this ruling correct? And what happens if it's not?
