    Annabeth and Reyna must work together to uncover the truth behind ancient secrets, but there is tension between them. Are the gods fair rulers? Above all, how will Reyna react to Annabeth's new feelings toward her Roman counterpart?

    A note on chronology: This work takes some creative liberties with canon.
    The adventure takes place the summer after /The Blood of Olympus/. 
    /The Hidden Oracle/ is happening at the same time, but Annabeth doesn't know it. 
    Annabeth has already met Sadie and has done research on Egyptian mythology. She suspects other (i.e. non-Egyptian Greco-Roman) myths' gods are real, but has no tangible evidence...yet.
