- DEKU wasn't supposed to be a hero. He was quirkless; he was an omega; he was physically weak. Odds were everything except in his favor. But he did have a factor, one THING, going for him. His resilience, the fact was he was never going to give up. Yet here he was, last year of middle school. Giving up. When he had just about lost hope, winds shifted. He's climbing, climbing up, up to the top. However, atfer his block acted off he gets suspension. Two days later Shoto shows up, beat up and now Shoto is spending a week at his house. The more he's around Todoroki, the more he asks himself
"What is this feeling in my chest?"
- SHOTO was a creation to beat All Might and to take the top hero spot. He had everything in his favor. He had a powerful quirk; he was an alpha; he even had his father's brutal training making him all-around durable. Odds were nothing but in his favor except one thing, something holding him back. His social smarts were in the gutter, so what's he supposed to do when Deku tells him he should stay over for the week? He says yes almost immediately but the more he hangs around Midoriya, the more he finds himself asking,
"What is this feeling in my chest?"
