Edmen died when he was only fifteen, but his father refused to lose another loved one, no matter the cost. Ingrained into the field of developmental biology Edmen's father ends up playing with the ethical disputes and his paten, Edmen, being the product of such.

Finding himself alive in a now-foreign world, Edmen needs to find a new identity and with it a new responsibility. His life became responsible for more than one.
