All Adam Zacarias cares about is gaining enough psionic power, know-how, and skill to fly off into space and explore the universe. He doesn't care about normal humans one way or another -- as long as they don't bother him, he won't bother them, even if it's to save their lives.

His friend and fellow godlike Omni Sapiens, Mika, thinks differently, however, and against his better judgement, he ends up joining her on a humanitarian mission anyway -- a mission that escalates quickly into a crisis of world-ending proportions.
