My eyes grow large in shock, "You're kidding, right? No, no way." "Come on, you don't have to do much just an introduction and a bit of chatter."

I hesitate, "Just for that one day?" Elliot suddenly averts his eyes, "Actually it's for four months." A hysterical laugh escapes my throat. I clutch my sides as tears spring up in my eyes. After a few moments, I calm down. "Are you done now?"

"Sorry, the thought of dating you, just-" "Wow, ouch. And we won't actually be dating we'll just make it look like that to the media and my mother. Once this is done, we'll 'break up' and never have to see each other as anything but strangers unless you still want more." He winks suggestively. I roll my eyes, unimpressed.
