Being a university student these days is hard. What with tuition fees and the cost of living, it's long before you're up to your eyeballs in debt. So when Lily finds a winning lottery ticket, she can't believe her luck! Now surely everything will be okay.

How wrong can a person be?




This is a short story I wrote as part of my creative writing coursework. I wanted to write sound sophisticated so I basically used a thesaurus for most of the words- that's why the language is so complex and hard to understand. Sorry about that. I hope it doesn't put you off giving my story a go.
