Virgil Elliot didn't trust most. He was anxious about everything and always thinking through every negative outcome. He kept his eyes down and his walls up, only allowing a few past them. He wanted to keep it that way, but it was getting harder, especially with his new dorm mates.

Roman Black was almost too trusting. He quickly became attached to people, and when Virgil Elliot refused to even give his name, he quickly wanted to learn more about him.

When the first year of college started, they both ended up getting taught several lessons from the other, in addition to their basic college courses..

This story will contain trigger warnings, including swearing (which is the only one I gave up on putting a TW for), which I will put at the beginning of the chapters containing them. This book will also be about Prinxiety. There will be no smut, but I may add angst. There will most definitely be a lot of fluff.

This is also one heck of a slow burn.

He was already made aware of the penpal assignment that Mr. Sanders was doing for his English class and got his permission to give him to one of his student who he believed they would "make a great pair". Virgil has always tried his hardest to stay out of the the way of the others in the mind scape, to not cause any problems. He was a very nonconfrontational person, after all. But sometimes, confrontation seemed to hunt him down. ' "And lastly, it really comes down to who's more experienced." I smirk a bit at him and bite my lip, smug as he stares back at me. Roman seems to lean in a fraction of an inch, still not breaking eye contact. Then his eyes flicker over my the rest of my face breifly, and my breath catches in the back of my throat. ' ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ This story is of everyday life in the mind, and draws inspiration from a lot of books, including, but not limited to, "THE QUIET", "Stitched", and "far too damaged", along with references to other books I have read in my previous fandoms. This was kinda odd for me, writing in Virgil's point of view, mostly because I like to stray very, VERY far from the whole, "dayum they're hawt... Woit wat?" Kinda stuff. But Virgil is kinda, y'know, anxiety... Either way, I still tried to keep it on a restraining order, minimum distance of 40 ft. ;P. However, there definitely was some internal conflict going on.
