Virgil Elliot didn't trust most. He was anxious about everything and always thinking through every negative outcome. He kept his eyes down and his walls up, only allowing a few past them. He wanted to keep it that way, but it was getting harder, especially with his new dorm mates.

Roman Black was almost too trusting. He quickly became attached to people, and when Virgil Elliot refused to even give his name, he quickly wanted to learn more about him.

When the first year of college started, they both ended up getting taught several lessons from the other, in addition to their basic college courses..

This story will contain trigger warnings, including swearing (which is the only one I gave up on putting a TW for), which I will put at the beginning of the chapters containing them. This book will also be about Prinxiety. There will be no smut, but I may add angst. There will most definitely be a lot of fluff.

This is also one heck of a slow burn.

When Roman gets a penpal for his college English Lit class, he isn't all too happy about who he's gotten. His penpal is mysterious, angsty, and he doesn't seem all that friendly, but he is determined to get passed that tough exterior. But it doesn't help that he refuses to tell Roman his name. Virgil wasn't all too surprised about a random letter showing up at his house. He was already made aware of the penpal assignment that Mr. Sanders was doing for his English class and got his permission to give him to one of his student who he believed they would "make a great pair". It wouldn't stop Virgil from being his snarky self. Besides, how long would this penpal stick around anyway? This book is completed. Best Ranking: #10 in Prinxiety #14 in PenPal Fanart is not mine. This was kinda odd for me, writing in Virgil's point of view, mostly because I like to stray very, VERY far from the whole, "dayum they're hawt... Woit wat?" Kinda stuff. But Virgil is kinda, y'know, anxiety... Either way, I still tried to keep it on a restraining order, minimum distance of 40 ft. ;P. However, there definitely was some internal conflict going on.
