Hime (Princess) Jimmu Asuka has been dumped at the Kitsune Palace by her father, the 1st Japanese emperor, Emperor Jinmu-tennō. She is his first daughter, and one of his two children, both daughters. So he needs to find her a worthy husband. And how he'll do that is simple: he'll dump her off at the Kitsune Palace, for a worthy man to save her.
Kitsune King, Torii Takakage, the great son of Inari Ōkami has absolutely no idea what to do with a helpless princess. Not that he'd hurt her, as her father must have known, but, what was he to do with her. The Emperor's plan is to have the Princess's "Savior" kill him, to rid the human kingdom of one of its enemies. Maybe the right thing to do is just to kill the poor Princess. That would make the great Emperor Jinmu-tennō regret his decision, right? But then the immortal Kitsune would have to live with regret.
As time passes will the world fall down around the innocent Princess and not-so-innocent Kitsune? Or will their worlds collide beautifully?
