"Are you scared of me?" His breath fanned against my ear, his hands clamping down on my waist as I stood with my back to his hard chest.

"Why would I be?" He spun me around and our eyes locked. His hands were tight on my waist, and his lips were mere inches from mine, and his minty breath tingled my lips.

"I've done unspeakable things. I've hurt many people, and your life is at risk by just the mere encounter of myself." His eyes were so blue, so captivating. He spoke as if he hated his way of life, his eyes looked trapped. Even though he'd never admit it, he wished he could just change, be the real him, the him he shows me.

"I don't care." I breathed out, and just like that, his lips captured mine in a passionate kiss.
