Gellert Grindelwald has just come back from completing his time at Durmstrang school of wizardry to stay with his rich aunt, Bathilda Bagshot, who has cared for him since he was young. Whilst he was away at school, he had received letters from his aunt to inform him, that when he got back, they wouldn't be the only ones there. Sure enough, Gellert finally gets to meet the new residents at his home. The Dumbledores. To an outsider, they seem like a very typical family but there appears to be something very, very wrong and Gellert knows it. Why is Aberforth avoiding him? Why is Ariana kept away? And why does Albus seem so distance? Gellert is determined to figure this out.

The untold Story of Grindelwald and Dumbledore
"A tall, young man appeared behind the trunk of the old oaktree in our front garden. When he came over and extended my hand he had the unmistakably elegant movements of a wild cat. His hair was pearly white and as he came closer I recognised the different shade of his eyes: chestnut brown and steel blue. His grip was firm and dry. "My name is Gellert Grindelwald. And you must be Albus Dumbledore." This is the story of the two months in which Dumbledore and Grindelwald got to know each other, made plans to rule the world and fell in love with each other. It's highly researched to fit characters and dates. This is what could have actually happened based on all hints of HP7 (Dumbledore and Harry speaking) and "Phantastic Beasts". I do not own any of the characters or backstories. They are based on the work of J.K. Rowling in the Harry Potter Books and the movie series of Phantasric Beasts and where to find them. This is my first story ever to be published. English is also not my mother tongue. Gellert is stronger than ever, waiting for the day he sees his ex-lover again... Chapters 53-55: 1945, The final battle is getting closer where Gellert and Albus will have to face each other. Secrets will unfold and confessions will occur which will lead to the fate of the wizarding world. Who, if anyone, will have a happy ending? Chapter 56: 1964, What happened after the battle and where did it leave our beloved Albus Dumbledore? What will occur at his school next I wonder... Chapters 57-58: 1981, Albus is struggling with secrets he can't tell anyone but cannot keep bottled up inside him any longer. Who can he trust to not tell anyone? Answer, Gellert Grindelwald who is locked up in Nurmengard for life after his battle with Albus but accepts his fate as in the end he has remorse Chapters 59-61: 1992-1996, Albus' yearly presents and visits to Grindelwald as a way to keep his ex-lover going in his isolating cell. They discuss what is happening outside the walls as well as things they never thought to discuss when they were together.
