Jin is just trying to survive the summer and make it to her first year of college.  But plans take an unexpected twist as she falls into a dark and dangerous dreamworld full of necromancers, dancing shadows, and strange elemental magicks.  Befriended from the start by a talking horse and a brooding man who calls himself a Fire Born, Jin takes her first few steps into the world of Leaveh.  But something has changed within Jin; abilities that she's never had before she tumbled into Leaveh are beginning to manifest in the form of fire, lightning, light, and more.  With a deranged necromancer on her trail, a corrupt government after her abilities, prophecies from above and below, and a new world to explore, the challenge of finding a way home is the least of her problems.
