NiGHTS: The Shattered Dream

For many millennia Dreams and Nightmares have been in conflict. Causing not only the dreaming world to suffer, but the waking world as well.
As of now the two sides have come to an impasse. The nightmaren led by the mysterious facsimile Known a Selph, have grown silently, but no less deadly. The nightopian being led by the former Nightmaren known as NiGHTS, with his Brother Reala tentatively by his side, who find themselves without the power or resources to breach the wall of nightmare and find out what they are planing.
Hope seems to be dwindling among their ranks.
In this standstill, humans from the waking world appear, each embodying the power of an individual Ideya, all except one, an outlier, nothing remarkable about him.
NiGHTS, Though puzzled by the ragtag group, has never been one to look a gift horse in the mouth; the power of the Ideya will be just what they need to turn the tides of the war in their favor.
But what to do with the unremarkable one. hopefully he doesn't get in the way, despite his... overly helpful nature.
