Ally has never known unconditional love. Raised under demands of perfection by someone who was far from it, the feeling of not being good enough is one she carries with her. Despite two university degrees and a solid group of friends, she has a hard time loving herself and she finds herself wondering if this is all there is to life. Logan doesn't know why he's angry, but he is. His attitude keeps most people at bay but he's sick of the fake bullshit with family, friends and females. He's coasting through life with no real drive or dream. He craves something true to believe in before he's too far gone. Then fate, or maybe bad decisions, bring him to Ally with her warm, profound eyes filled with secrets. But with hidden mysteries of his own, can Logan truly mean something to someone else...and can this enigmatic girl open places in his heart he never knew existed? In opening up to each other can they start to accept themselves - or will they leave each other in even more pieces?

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
