The universe ended years ago, everything vanished, Earth isn't there anymore, no stars, no sun, no planets, no moons, no galaxies and no black holes.

Yet, a group of 50 people could manage an escape, they could build a small portal into a baby universe and now they need to manage their lives, build things up all over again, manage food and a living in order to keep the human race from extinction.

After her mother could manage to escape along with the group of  50 survivors, her life was the furthest thing from easy anyone could imagine, but what could possibly be waiting for them there?
