Castiel Novak on the other hand wanted one thing. To get away from his dad's illusion of a perfect family. He's had everything planned out since middle school, go to Stanford for Literature and become an author but it all crumbles when his family does and he doubts this trip is going to solve much.

So what does it mean when these two boys cross paths?

Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side.
