Some things aren't meant to be defined as 'simple'. After all, the madness and impossibilities add with them a certain spice of thrill that makes living worth it. Still, there must at least be a limit as to how far things can go, right?

In the case of one Kazuto Kirigaya, he could have never been prepared for such a life-changing experience. After all, playing a simple VR game should probably not turn out as insane as it is for him. Then again, who would have thought that the game was rigged against them from the start, in a way that even its creator had not seen coming.

No matter. What's important now is to simply do his best to survive the madness to come, beat this death game and make it out alive.

And probably understand who that creepy long-nosed dude is, how everyone are suddenly capable of summoning monsters, make sense on why there are so many girls in his guild and how the hell did he end up crossing worlds?!

Had it been worth it? Thrown into another world as the protagonist and hoping to change the fate of the world? Clearly, if there was anything worth mentioning, it was that he really hoped that he would not screw up. And yet, nothing is the same! Faces new and old, encounters in different ways, different battles in both the real and virtual world, and girl problems! Lots, and lots of it, no less! But he can probably do it, right? Hah, who was he kidding? This is one hell of a gamble he's gotten himself into, with a mission to save everyone and everything! Era moreugetda! It's time to play the game!
