After NBA legend Kobe Bryant's death on January 26th 2020, I decided to write a poem dedicated to his memory. It's simplistic free verse but says so much about how a kid from Philadelphia impacted so many others. Be blessed and remember-life is precious.

Luke Kennard is living his dream. He's an NBA rookie, first-round draft pick. So why does he feel so empty? This story is a companion to Bring Me to Life, Still and I'll Find You. If you have not read Bring Me to Life and Still, this story may be somewhat confusing. It takes place at the same time as I'll Find You. The same disclaimers apply to this as the stories listed above; there is profanity and although not explicit, it is very suggestive. In addition, this book contains some themes that are not present in the other books. There are story lines involving deaths, including the death of a child and there is mention of addiction issues. If any of those things trigger you, please be forewarned and message me if you need more information. Also, the medical conditions and information in this story is largely the product of my overactive imagination. Good Mourning Poetry
In January 2020, I lost my father in a traumatic way as he passed while I was performing CPR. As a way to cope, I started to journal. My journal entries quickly turned to poetry, a form of writing that I had no experience in. Over time, my poems have evolved to be about more than my father. I'll start to share them in this book. I believe the works in here are a collaboration between my father and I. Rest in peace SBR. I love you and hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoy the comfort I get from writing these poems
