"If I do get up there, then I'm going to have to leave to get help, alright?" She nodded. "Can you try and stay awake that long and keep your head above water?" She nodded again. "Alright." He rubbed his hands together trying to get the extra water off. He froze as he heard Remy's heart stutter, and then pick up at a slightly slower pace. Liam turned quickly, so quickly that he splashed water that made Remy flinch, and grabbed her face in his hands. Her eyes widened in surprise. Squeezing his eyes shut, Liam pressed his lips to Remy's trembling ones, letting an arm curl around her waist, pulling her closer. She froze, her hands hovering over his shoulders hesitantly, before letting them settle there. She kissed back clumsily as his lips lingered on hers for a few more seconds. He combed his fingers through her hair soothingly and then pulled back, his face still very close to hers. Remy's mouth parted. "Oh," she breathed. The tips of her ears turned a bright shade of red. "That was-" she laughed nervously. "Oh."
