Hold on ~ One Chicago Fic

It was common knowledge that Jay, and Will, but especially Jay kept secrets. It was also common knowledge that they did not get on with their father at all. One thing that wasn't common knowledge however was the fact that the two Halstead brothers had another sibling, a girl quite a few years younger. She may be Jay's best kept secret from his unit. He didn't keep her a secret because he hated her, but on the contrary he wanted to do anything he could to protect her and if that meant she was going to remain a secret than that was what he was going to do. Things were about to change however when a heist gone wrong lands Jay in the hospital, from there on all their lives are going to change but will Jay be able to protect his sister or will she get swept up in his messy life and have to deal with the consequences?
