According to the FBI, Cale would be legally classified as a "contract killer," should he ever get arrested or go to trial for his work. But that term was problematic for a few reasons; first and foremost, "killer" makes for a pretty poor resume keyword, and more importantly, Cale's victims were never technically "killed."
