Brock Cunningham was just your typical 16 year old high school student from New York. His life was normal for the majority until one day something enters Brock's life. A mysterious fluid like creature comes across Brock's body by chance and lives inside him and manifests itself in Brock's shadow. What is this creature and what does it want with Brock? And can Brock learn to control this thing inside of him or will he succumb to the Shadow Within.

An Unique Story AUS
This unique story is about Callum Ivan Alastair, a 16-year-old autistic boy. Callum is sensitive to sound, light and especially touch. He is friendly, shy, thinks a lot about others and often struggles with social situations and sensory overload. In the story, he is haunted by a shadow all the time, which even visits him in his dreams. It even has a name. Strange and stranger things happen later on. Read the story to experience Callum's fears and adventures. It's the first time i ever posted a Story of mine. The plot isn't that great and the chapters are really short too, to which i apologize. There also may be some spelling mistakes because English is not my first language. I'm also open for Feedback and Advice you may have. And a little warning, the ending is REALLY bad. I wrote this Story for fun, but i also added some real things people with autism struggle with, because i myself am autistic and noticed that there aren't as many Stories with autism where the main thing is still the plot. Brock is one of the rare few to have a physical inner spirit. Every person in the world had a spirit they could connect with, but only a confirmed 10% could manifest that spirit into a true animal. Unfortunately for that 10%, 8 out of 10 of those people went missing soon after manifesting their first ability. Brock was one of that 8, and he learned it was a secret facility that were performing experiments on these people to see the extent of their spirits powers and if they can help the other 90% of the world manifest their own. Brock was taken from his family when his fire ability appeared at 8 years old, and 18 years later was one of the oldest manifested in the facility.
