After waiting for the Winter Soldier to return from as mission that was only supposed to take a few days, Lavie starts to worry. She's nothing to HYDRA without the Winter Soldier. She's just the bait they use against him when he needs a little push. When a surprise attack from the Avengers breaks out in the HYDRA base Vernie is in, she's immediately taken to the Avenger's Mansion. She sees someone she was so worried about.
