Due to human experimentation becoming legal, super human abilities have surfaced into the world. However, only about 20% of them have these powers. Therefore a lot of them are extremely valuable and are treated very well automatically by society. However, there are many villains birthed by these super human abilities, and with it heroes. Almost all of the villains aren't to be worried about, just petty first class villains. However, there is one villain and his army that terrifies the masses, known by the media as Tourniquet. He is a terrifying person that makes civilians cower and not go out at night, and there are rumors circulating that he is only 17! Be careful out there, and whatever you do, do NOT get infected by the epidemic of his own design. Anyone who catches the academic, depending on how far into the symptom stages you are, and depending on your insurance, will either be attempted to be saved, or publicly executed.

In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?
