Ren Everette has always dreamed of being a successful author. So when a new, crazy, inspiring girl, Miss Thea Olin arrives in town he cannot help but follow her every move getting all juicy and detailed facts about her as inspiration for his book. But Ren can't keep his obsession a secret for long, when a questioning Thea comes marching up to his door he has a lot of explaining to do, and from the unnerving things Ren finds out about Thea, so does she. One story is unfolded as the other is written.
