To prepare for the coming war, the Bane has accepted many new recruits who are working hard to prepare themselves. Vaughan, the Osprey of Doranelle, has been tasked with aiding in the training of the new recruits, but it may be harder than anticipated. One young Fae, Luciana Alburn, is struggling to earn her place in the ranks of the Bane. If Vaughan can't find a way to help her, she will be forced to leave, and he will lose someone more precious than he may ever know.
