Courtney (Courie) Ribbon lives with her older sister (an alcohol and glambling addict) and her sisters husband. She's an 18 year old, school dropout, creative artist.
Xavier Moon is one of the worlds best known pop stars. He's been looking for the right girl for ages now, and when he finally finds her (Courie), she hates him. All in all Xavier is lonely; living with his mum in a giant mansion that he gets lost in doesnt help. He longs for normality away from fame but wont let his weakness show to anyone.
Courie finds being involed with him is all too much.
