My name is Gypsy.
I am a Pilgrim.
We were once called Gypsies, in the age of technology. Now my kinsmen are dead. And it is my job to lead the revolution, the rebellion.
I will rule in my mother's place. I have Saw the future. It is my destiny to fulfill it's fate.
Gypsy is the daughter of the mother of the rebellion and with the original new Queen gone she shall rule in her place. But will it be that easy? Will her heart allow her to go along with fate, or will it and someone else have a rebellion of their own, against what she wants. For what she knows is right.
This is a story about rebellion. But it's not always the same kind.

This is my entry of the young writers short story, that is why it's based on a certain theme and the chapters come so quickly and are so short. I will most likely be making a longer version once I get my other three books finished! Just thought I'd say that!

No robots in houses, but workhouses instead. Telekinetic pencils... that's possible, if you are gifted with the power of telekinesis. There are dark truths hidden behind closed doors, that only few know. Truths that if they got out, would bring the downfall of the government. A government that has been deceiving people for generations. But they haven't been as careful as they thought, because 100 years ago, one guy found out their secrets. 100 years ago, one guy started the rebellion that would bring about the end. From burning books, rewriting history and breaking human rights, this government will stop at nothing to make it seem that they are doing good. But people have had enough, the secret came out before. It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Not Giving Into Fate
I was the daughter of Duke Solon, I thought I was the last child. My elder brother is following in my father's stead. We were never really close. We both share my father's personality, a wedge that makes it hard for the three of us to talk to one another. It was fine, living like that, I mean. I was the daughter of the Duke, engaged to the Prince who didn't seem to care that much about the engagement. I was the Master of Ancient Magic at the Magic Tower. I had everything and I was stronger than most. The only terrible thing was that on my coming of age ceremony, it was all ruined. Catherina broke into my ball, claiming to be the daughter of some woman and my father. She looked like her mother and acted like her to gain my father's affection, society's adoration and the Prince's love. For two years she ruined me up to the point of my death. She somehow was able to frame me and villainize me as she stole my fiancé and life. She continued doing so until I somehow was framed for attempted murder. My father called me a traitor and a liar, the Prince sentenced my death and no one stopped it. I woke in my body again, 18 years old and with a plan. I don't want the Prince who will ridicule me, embarrass me and choose the woman over me. I don't care for all those who supported her over me. I had one plan. Kill her before she kills me.

Time didn't matter to her. She got up when the sun did and tried to sleep when the sun went down. because of this seemingly endlessness, she's forgotten her name, she's forgotten her family and she's forgotten everything she use to be. Now she was nothing. Living on the streets of a town begging for money and food from travellers that didn't know who she was, unlike the rest of the town that thought of her as something unnatural even though she doesn't know why. Constantly abused by the townspeople who don't understand her, she is left to die in an alleyway after a horrible run in with three drunk men. She was expecting to die and have her corpse eaten by rats and other vermin. What she didn't expect was to be saved by a woman that was everything but human. "Do you want to live?" This woman asked and when she looked into herself she knew the answer, it came easy through her busted lips. "Yes." From that day on she became something else, something not human, something extraordinary and from that day forth she will serve this woman who saved her life and maybe one day remember her name or be given one by her new Mistress. These new 'evolved' humans, or 'evos', were everything they could have hoped for--strong, and fast, and smart. Practically immortal, too, so what was the problem? They were born without emotions. Maybe this doesn't sound too bad to you, but our emotions? They're what make us human. What happened next was kinda inevitable: the Evos took over. There are two strands of DNA--get one, and your set for life. Get the other, good luck living to see past your sweet sixteen. And if you are one of the crazy (or brave, depending on who you ask) people who dares to bring a child into this world, you could give them the best, longest life ever, or doom them to an early death after a suckish life. So, yeah. Our world is screwed up. And we can't go to G42 for a solution, because as soon as the Evos realized the possibilities, they slaughtered everyone who might know something and blew up the facility.
