Nico DiAngelo nervously glanced up at the cold dark ceiling, his eyes refusing to wonder back to the door, which rumbled and shook, moans and cries seething through the cracks. He found himself looking there anyways, the pull to open the door becoming stronger and stronger.

Before he could open it however, he found himself being shaking, and a distant, worried voice stopped the ringing in his ears.
