After witnessing his father's murder, Sean Diaz has been given the impossible task of traveling across country to protect his telekinetic brother from persecution. Somewhere on his journey, he meets an earnest but naïve young girl who takes an immediate interest in the two boys. Together they form a new family, supporting each other as they navigate through a cruel and unforgiving world.

Caitlin is lonely, and doesn't know how much more she can take of the "trust no one" road life. That's when she meets the Diaz brothers. At first she is adamant that she can't trust them, but nonetheless, the brothers still get under that hard shell of this runaway. When Caitlin helps them out Sean offers her a deal that she can't refuse. But, shit is gonna get complicated fast. But, a Tanner never backs out of a deal. This was no different.
